The annual meeting of the Executive Management Board (EMB) was held on Monday May 26, 2008. The meeting was chaired by H.E the Minister of Water and Irrigation in presence of representatives of EC Delegation headed by H.E the ambassador, in addition to the General Secretaries of MWI; WAJ; JVA, and the PMU management team. 

The Director of PMU gave a presentation demonstrating a brief overview of the Second Annual Work Plan of Al-Meyyah Project, and reflecting the PMU understanding and view points regarding the obligations and activities for establishing a successful independent regulator for the Water Sector by the end of Al- Meyyah Project.

H.E the Minister of Water and Irrigation, H.E the Ambassador and H.E the first Secretary of the EC Delegation, and the Board members approved Al-Meyyah Project Annual Work Plan (II) and indorsed the documents to announce the formal creation of the Water Sector Audit Unit (WSAU).
